My Story
Hello! I’m Nathalie Barsoumian. I’m so happy to see that you are here. It means that you are ready to do what it takes for the children in your life, and for yourself, as a parent or a teacher. Education is the best thing that we can provide to our youth for a better future, for themselves, and to the world.
Now, let me tell you a little bit more about me. Some of you know me personally or from my Instagram page @nathaliebarsoumian. I am passionate about Education. I am an advocate for teachers, parents, and institutions to help them improve their strategies and guide them based on their specific needs and objectives.
I was born and raised in Lebanon and moved to the United Arab Emirates in 2004.
I later completed my master’s degree in Supervision and Administration in Education in the US.
My specialization is in primary years, curriculum design, and implementation.
In 2011, I relocated back to Dubai where I was head of the preschool at a French spoken institution. The turning point in my career was when I visited Reggio Emilia, in Italy where I discovered a different approach to learning and parenting. As a teacher, I always felt the need for my students to imagine, create and develop their problem solving and critical thinking skills to unleash their full potential. When I relocated to Dubai for the second time in 2011, I had one goal in mind: to be an agent of change. With my team, I reinvented a space where my students have rights over their learning through meaningful and purposeful learning opportunities. Learning was based on inquiry, play, and authentic activities.
An integral part of my philosophy is to unleash the wonderful mind of children through multi-sensorial approaches.
As a Doctoral student, I am always eager to learn and develop new skills and strategies. Yes, I believe in change, I believe that Education merits a change, and I salute all parents and professionals that contribute day after day, to a better future for our youth.
I believe that every child is unique and should benefit from a quality education.
I want to inspire, motivate, and guide you to develop true confidence to educate your child/student to fulfill their potential.
I am grateful to be able to reach a place where I can help you and your child develop positive relationships based on trust, balance, and self-confidence because you can build a constructive environment with your child, and this change starts here!
